Business Options for Designated Brokers

A self-employed broker (designated broker) may choose from several available business structure options. This section explains the differences among these options to help determine which one best fits the broker’s needs. There are circumstances where you may operate under a trade name in combination with the other options available, as allowed by law.  All required documentation and information must be completed and submitted for both the chosen business structure and the trade name, if applicable.

These sections do not include all items needed to either issue the license or transfer the license, please review those sections of the website for the full list of requirements.
