The License Act and Agency Law
The Nebraska Real Estate Commission was initially created by the legislature to license and regulate real estate salespersons and brokers agents in the state, the laws governing the Commission’s and licensees are primarily found in the Nebraska Real Estate License Act and Regulations. Agency law and regulations are found in Chapter 76, article 24 of the Nebraska Statutes, and Title 301 of the Nebraska Administrative Code.
Specialized Registrations, Time Shares, Retirement Communities, etc.
Over the years the jurisdiction of the Commission was expanded to include various specialized registrations , including Subdivided Lands, Membership Campgrounds, Time Shares, and Retirement Communities.
