The License issuance fee is not prorated and only pays for the current years license.
- If you get licensed this year, it expires on December 31 of the same year. The fee is the same whether you get your license issued in January, June or December.

Salesperson and Broker applicants must upload to the Licensee Portal the National and State passing score reports that were provided to you at the examination center. The report must have the results and the photo that was taken when you arrived at the testing center.

Errors & Omissions Insurance Information
Please Note: In order for you to conduct real estate activities and have your license on active status, you must have errors and omissions insurance that meet our requirements. This includes a two-year policy, and they may not be an accredited reinsurer.

Designated Brokers (Self-Employed Brokers) may conduct real estate activities as an individual or an entity. The designated broker must be properly registered and in good standing with our office and the Nebraska Secretary of State's office before conducting any real estate activities or advertising under such name. Designated Broker Education Requirement (if supervising other Licensees)
Neb. Rev. Stat. 81-885.13 (4) - No person issued a broker's license may act as a designated broker for any other licensee until such person has taken additional courses of post licensure education in the subjects of real estate trust accounting, brokerage finance, business ethics, and risk management, except that the commission may extend, for up to six months, the post licensure course work requirement under the hardship provision of subdivision (3)(b)(ii) of this section.
